What is Soy wax?

Soy wax is a vegetable wax derived from soybean oil.  It is a natural, renewable resource, biodegradable and cleans up with plain old soap and water.

It has “excellent fragrance-holding qualities” and is cleaner burning and longer lasting than paraffin candles.

No dyes are used in our scented candles, so they are white, or cream in colour. The only thing we add to the wax is quality fragrance oil or essential oils. We don’t add any other artificial additives to our candles. 

Tell me about wood wicks?

Initially burn until the wax has fully melted around the wick which takes 2 - 3 hours.

Ensure you trim your wood wick before each burn, trim by breaking off any burnt wood with your fingers to 5mm.

Sometimes you may notice a crackling sound coming from your wood wick. This is normal and adds to the rustic charm.

The wax will often reset with a pitted appearance, this is normal and does not effect the performance of the candle.

I am not sure what scent to go for can you help?

We sell sample boxes of wax melts which include all the scents we currently offer. These give you the chance to try them all out to discover your favourites.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Once we have received your order it will take 7 -10 working days but we do try to post out quicker.

How much is delivery?

We ship with Royal Mail 2nd class at present and charge £3.50 to cover postage and packaging.

I live locally please can I collect my order?

Yes this is fine, there used to be an option to collect in person but this was being mis-used by people trying to dodge postage so I have had to take that option down. Please email contact@bellaflame.co.uk or contact me on instagram to arrange collection and a refund on delivery.

Do you include an invoice inside the order?

We like to do our bit to help the environment and use less paper where we can so do not include an invoice inside the order. We also have many customers who purchase items as gifts so this avoids any payment or billing information being seen.

Can I send my order to someone else as it is a gift?

Yes you can, just make sure you put their details in the shipping information section at checkout. We don't include invoices so no pricing or billing information will be in the package.
